The List of Toxic Chemicals Strictly Restricted in China (2023) includes substances listed in the Stockholm Convention, the Minamata Convention on Mercury, and the Rotterdam Convention.

Enterprises that import or export chemicals included in the List of Toxic Chemicals Strictly Restricted in China shall apply to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment for the Clearance Notification for Environmental Management on Import/Export of Toxic Chemicals, and then proceed with the import and export procedures to Customs with the Clearance Notification.
