Date:Aug 23, 2024

On August 19, 2024, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) launched a public consultation on the harmonized classification and labeling (CLH) proposals for two chemicals. Each consultation period will last for 60 days. The CLH process aims to ensure consistency and transparency of hazard information for chemicals across Europe. This procedure includes assessing the hazards of the chemicals, proposing appropriate classifications and labeling, collecting comments publicly, and undergoing a final review and recommendation by Risk Assessment Committee (RAC) of ECHA.
