Industrial Chemicals subject to conditional production and trading in Vietnam includes hazardous chemical substances with strict technical safety requirements in production and trade. The List is regulated by the Law on Chemicals (Order No.06/2007/QH12), which came into effect on July 1, 2008.
► According to the Law on Chemicals, for industrial Chemicals subject to conditional production and trading in Vietnam, a production and trading qualification certificate shall be applied from the provincial or municipal Department of Industry and Trade before production or trade. The application for a production and trading qualification certificate includes the following documents: an application form, a copy of the business license, SDS for hazardous chemical substances and certificate of technical personnel. The production and trading qualification certificate is valid for five years. Applicants shall also submit activity reports before June 10 and December 10 annually.
► Chemical substances that are not included in the List are not subject to corresponding obligations.
