The Technical Regulation on Positive List of Monomers, Other Starting Substances and Authorized Polymers for the Manufacture of Plastic Packaging and Equipment in Contact with Food (GMC RES 02-2012) specifically targets the use of monomers and other starting substances in plastic materials intended for food contact, listing restrictions and specifications designed to ensure the safety and suitability of these materials in the production of food contact plastic products.
