Philippine List of Prohibiting Chemical Weapons

On January 23, 2024, the Philippines passed Act No. 9571 (HB9571), the Chemical Weapons Prohibition Act, which seeks to implement its international commitments under the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) to prohibit the development, production, acquisition, stockpiling or retention of any chemical weapons. In addition to the list of prohibited acts related to chemical weapons, HB9571 also contains the list of prohibited chemical weapons (Schedule 1, Schedule 2, Schedule 3).
