Update to the China-National Food Safety Standard for Use of Additives for Food Contact Materials and Products (GB 9685-2016)-7 New Substances Added-Feb 13,2025

The Department of Food Safety Standards, Monitoring, and Evaluation of the National Health Commission issued an announcement on February 10, 2025, regarding 20 types of "Three New Foods," including stevia polyphenols and other 5 new food ingredients, butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) and other 8 new food additive varieties, as well as polyisobutene and other 7 new food-related product varieties.

Seven types of food contact materials have now been included in the list "Standard for the Use of Additives in Food Contact Materials and Products in China (GB 9685-2016)."
