On October 15, 2024, the Ministry of Environment (MOE) of South Korea, in accordance with Article 42 (Disclosure of Chemical Information) of the Act on Registration and Evaluation, etc. of Chemical Substances and Article 51 (Disclosure of Chemical Information, etc.) Paragraph 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the same act, disclosed the results of the existing chemical substance notification and released the latest list of pre-registered substances under K-REACH.
As of September 30, 2024, a total of 247,669 pre-registration applications have been submitted for 17,502 chemical substances, of which 77 are CMR substances.
