What is a hazard communication label, and what elements does it include?
A

A hazard communication label is a combination of text, pictograms, and codes used to indicate the hazards of a chemical and safety precautions. It can be affixed, hung, or printed on the packaging or container of the chemical.

The elements of a hazard communication label mainly include the chemical identifier (information on the main chemical components), pictograms, signal words (warning phrases), hazard statements, precautionary statements, and supplier identification.
