The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) of the Philippines recently issued Administrative Order No. 2025-09, officially incorporating 161 new chemicals into the Philippine Inventory of Chemicals and Chemical Substances (PICCS). This update includes 96 new chemicals from 2022 and 65 from 2023, bringing the total number of chemicals in the PICCS from 22,277 to 22,438. The order took effect on February 6, 2025.
