Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Identifies 17 Highly Mutagenic Substances

After testing 643 notified substances, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) identified 17 substances with high mutagenicity, capable of causing permanent changes to DNA sequences. The results and details of these substances, including their names, properties, and usage examples, were published in the official gazette.
