The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of the Environment of Japan jointly announced that they will conduct a public comment period from December 27, 2024, to January 25, 2025. This initiative aims to broadly collect public opinions on the provincial ordinance draft concerning technical standards for handling Dechlorane Plus, excluding licensed manufacturers. Additionally, comments on the environmental protection measures that should be indicated on containers, packaging, or transport documents of Dechlorane Plus are also being solicited.
