On December 16, 2024, the Australian government issued a notice pursuant to Section 82 of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019, announcing an update to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (AIIC) because 5 years have passed since the assessment certificates for the industrial chemicals were issued. Two new chemicals were added to the inventory.
