How should limited quantity dangerous goods be declared for export?
Date:Dec 12, 2024

Specific Q: According to the limited quantity packaging requirements, when compliant with limited quantity packaging, there is no need to use specialized dangerous goods packaging, meaning no performance certificate is needed. How should it be declared for export?

A: According to the Announcement on Issues Concerning the Inspection and Supervision of Imported and Exported Hazardous Chemicals and the Packaging Thereof (General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 129, 2020), for limited quantities exempted from the use of dangerous goods packaging under international regulations, there is no need to provide the "Exit Cargo Transportation Packaging Performance Inspection Result Sheet". Enterprises should package and transport dangerous goods for export in accordance with the relevant requirements for limited quantities. In declarations, if there is a need to declare information about dangerous goods and their packaging, it should be declared truthfully.
