ECHA Launches 60-Day Public Consultation on CLH Proposal for a Chemical Substance

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) initiated a 60-day public consultation on the harmonized classification and labelling (CLH) proposal for [4-[p,p'-bis(dimethylamino)benzhydrylidene]cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene]dimethylammonium m-[[p-anilinophenyl]azo]benzenesulphonate. The CLH process aims to ensure consistency and transparency of hazard information for chemicals throughout Europe. This procedure includes assessing the hazards of the chemical, proposing appropriate classification and labelling, collecting public comments, and the final review and recommendation by ECHA's Risk Assessment Committee (RAC).
