Implemented! China Bans or Strictly Limits the Export of the Following Materials to the USA!

On December 3, 2024, the Ministry of Commerce of China announced that it would strengthen controls on dual-use items exported to the United States in order to safeguard national security and interests, and to fulfill international non-proliferation obligations. The announcement took effect immediately upon release.

Relevant enterprises please note, the export of the following materials to the USA will be prohibited or strictly restricted:

1.Prohibition of the export of dual-use items to military users or for military use in the United States;

2. In principle, no licenses will be granted for the export of gallium, germanium, antimony, and ultra-hard materials related dual-use items to the United States;

3. For the export of graphite dual-use items to the United States, stricter end-user and end-use reviews will be implemented.

The announcement emphasizes that any organization or individual in any country or region who violates the above regulations and transfers or provides dual-use items originating from the People's Republic of China to organizations or individuals in the United States will be held legally accountable according to law.
