On November 22, 2024, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the "Announcement on the Inclusion of Registered New Chemical Substances into the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (2024 Second Batch, Total 14th Batch)" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Announcement No. 28 of 2024). This announcement includes 30 newly registered chemical substances that meet the requirements into the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China, such as Mixture of alkenyl oxy alkyl N-[(alkenyl oxy alkoxy amide) alkyl] carbamate and alkenyl oxy alkyl N-[(alkenyl oxy alkoxy amide) alkyl amide oxy alkoxy amide alkyl] carbamate, [(Hydroxy-polyalkoxyaryl)alkylene]aliphatic dicarboxylic acid dialkyl ester, and Mixture of hydroxymethyl heteropolycyle and hydroxy heteropolycyle, etc. The specific content of the announcement is as follows:
Announcement on the Inclusion of Registered New Chemical Substances into the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (2024 Second Batch, Total 14th Batch)
In accordance with the "Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Order No. 12), the "Announcement on the Release of the Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances and Related Supporting Forms and Form Filling Instructions" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Announcement No. 51 of 2020), and the "Announcement on Related Matters Concerning the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Announcement No. 46 of 2020), the 30 registered new chemical substances that meet the requirements are now included in the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (see attachment), managed as existing chemical substances, and new use environmental management is implemented for chemical substances with designated new use environmental management scopes.
This is hereby announced.
