Date:Dec 02, 2024

On November 22, 2024, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the "Announcement on the Supplement to the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (2nd Batch of 2024, Total 12th Batch)" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Announcement No. 27 of 2024). This announcement includes the addition of six chemical substances to the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China, namely: Calcium tungsten oxide (CaWO4) (CAS#7790-75-2), Phosphonomycin (R)-1-phenethylamine salt (CAS#25383-07-7), N-Methyl-1-(methylthio)-2-nitroethylen-1-amine (CAS#61832-41-5), 1,1-Ethenediamine, N-[2-[[[5-[(dimethylamino)methyl]-2-furanyl]methyl]thio]ethyl]-N′-methyl-2-nitro- (CAS#66357-35-5), Guanidine, hydrochloride (1:1), polymer with 1,6-hexanediamine (CAS#57028-96-3), Ammonium vanadium oxide ((NH4)V3O8) (CAS#12207-63-5). The specific content of the announcement is as follows:

Announcement on the Supplement to the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (2nd Batch of 2024, Total 12th Batch)

In accordance with the provisions of the "Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Order No. 12) and following the requirements for the inclusion of chemical substances into the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China as outlined in the "Announcement on the Release of the Environmental Management Registration Guide for New Chemical Substances and Related Supporting Forms and Form Instructions" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Announcement No. 51 of 2020), our department has reviewed and publicized the application materials submitted by relevant chemical production, import, and use enterprises, related industry associations, and other units. Now, the six chemical substances that meet the requirements are added to the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (see attachment).

This announcement is hereby made.
