Canada to Introduce New Regulatory Framework for Household Chemical Products

The Health Canada plans to develop a new regulatory framework based on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) to classify and label hazardous substances in household chemical products, replacing the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations of 2001. Stakeholders can submit related survey responses to ccpsa-lcspc@hc-sc.gc.ca by November 22.
