ECHA Adds Triphenyl Phosphate to the REACH Candidate List of SVHC

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced on October 16, 2024, that the Member State Committee (MSC) reached a consensus in its October meeting to include triphenyl phosphate (TPP) in the REACH candidate list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). This marks a significant change from the previously postponed decision. ECHA plans to issue an official announcement in early November to formally add TPP to the SVHC candidate list.
