Recently, the Department of Industrial Works (DIW) in Thailand conducted a comprehensive review of the Hazardous Substances Act, which was implemented in 1992, and solicited public comments. The review focused on definitions in the law, regulatory structures, and coordination with other laws. The DIW identified some implementation issues during the review and proposed amendments.
