Washington State to Launch New Reporting Tool for Monitoring Hazardous Substances in Consumer Products

The Washington State Department of Ecology announced plans to launch a reporting tool for the Safer Products for Washington (SPW) program by the end of 2023. This tool is intended to track hazardous substances in consumer products. It is part of a high-priority chemical data system that is still under development, expected to be operational before the reporting deadline of January 31, 2025.
