Japan Holds Public Consultation on Updating SDS and Substance Labelling

Japan announced a public consultation to discuss updates to the list of substances and their preparations requiring Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels. The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) proposes adding 155 substances to the list, while also removing two substances, including sodium stearate and triphenyl phosphate.
