Countries Call for Improved REACH Compliance Checks
Date:Sep 19, 2024

Countries and non-governmental organizations are calling on the European Commission and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) to improve the quality of compliance checks and introduce stricter measures in the upcoming REACH revisions to target non-compliant dossiers. These opinions will be fed back into the ongoing work of the European Commission's Joint Action Plan launched in 2019 with ECHA and EU enforcement agencies. The action plan aims to identify data gaps while making the registration and review processes more streamlined and faster.
