Peru Proposes Limits on Heavy Metals in Reusable Plastic Utensils and Dinnerware

Peru recently submitted a new proposal to the WTO aimed at limiting the content of heavy metals in reusable plastic utensils and dinnerware. This proposal not only involves restrictions on heavy metals but also includes the establishment of technical and labeling requirements for the production of reusable plastic utensils for food use, strictly adhering to ISO standards on packaging, plastic recycling, and testing.
