U.S. EPA Imposes Fines on Companies That Violate the Clean Air Act

Recently, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) levied a fine of $93,107 on Hyland Dairy Foods Company located in Norfolk, Nebraska. The company was penalized for allegedly illegally storing more than 10,000 pounds of anhydrous ammonia, in violation of the chemical risk prevention regulations under the Clean Air Act.
