The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a draft risk evaluation for di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to evaluate whether a chemical substance presents an unreasonable risk of injury to health or the environment under the conditions of use. The preliminary results indicate that DINP may pose a potential risk to human health. The evaluation is currently undergoing public consultation, and comments can be submitted until November 4, 2024.
