Six Substances Nominated for Inclusion on EU's REACH Candidate List of SVHCs

On August 30, 2024, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced that the following substances: 6-[(C10-C13)-alkyl-(branched, unsaturated)-2,5-dioxopyrrolidin-1-yl]hexanoic acid,O,O,O-triphenyl phosphorothioate,Octamethyltrisiloxane,Perfluamine,Reaction mass of: triphenylthiophosphate and tertiary butylated phenyl derivatives,Tris(4-nonylphenyl, branched) phosphite , have been nominated for inclusion in the EU REACH list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).

Currently, ECHA is conducting a public consultation on these substances, which will conclude on October 14, 2024. All stakeholders are invited to submit their feedback to ECHA during this period. ECHA will evaluate the feedback received and will decide whether to officially include these substances in the SVHC candidate list based on this assessment.
