Korea Proposes K-REACH Rule Changes to Ease Data Submission for Recycled Chemicals, Effective October 2024

The Ministry of Environment in Korea released a draft revision to the K-REACH enforcement rules, specifying the conditions for exemptions from certain data submissions, especially concerning chemicals produced using recycled materials. The revision specifies when data submission can be fully or partially exempted, and how to prove that the substances are made from recycled materials. These rules are expected to take effect on October 10, 2024.
