How should the import or production activities of chemicals listed in the "Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China" comply with the registration requirements for new chemical substances?

First, verify whether the chemical substance is among those in the "Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China" that are subject to new use environmental management. If it is, you must follow the provisions for new use environmental management registration as outlined in Section 6.1 of Chapter 6 in the "Guidelines for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Announcement No. 51 of 2020) and proceed with the appropriate registration.
