Under China's MEE Order No. 12, what should be noted when submitting chemical substance identification information for routine and simplified registration?

When submitting chemical substance identification information, the following aspects should be emphasized:

  1. Consistency in the Chinese name, English name, CAS number, molecular formula, and structural formula;
  2. If applying for protection of identification information, the generic name should be compiled according to the "Guidelines for the generic name of new chemical substances";
  3. Pay attention to spaces, hyphens, subscripts, and superscripts in chemical names; do not add punctuation at the end of the name;
  4. For chemicals with a uniquely determined molecular structure, provide the SMILES code;
  5. Pay attention to the subscripts in the molecular formula.
