New Hampshire Enacts Immediate Ban on PFAS in Multiple Product Categories

New Hampshire passed a new law that, effective immediately, bans the use of PFAS compounds in eight product categories, including food packaging, textile furnishings, and personal care products. It marks a continued effort by U.S. states to strengthen the regulation of these persistent chemical substances. Similar PFAS regulations have also been implemented in states such as Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, and Colorado.
