ECHA Seeks Input on Alternatives to Zinc Pyrithione, Offering Potential Five-Year Approval for Substitutes Meeting Specific Criteria

ECHA is collecting information on potential alternatives to the active substance Zinc pyrithione that meet substitution and exclusion criteria through third-party consultations. If at least one of the derogation conditions is met, approval of an active substance may be granted for a maximum period of five years, and for restricted uses.
