EPA Proposes Ban on Numerous Consumer and Workplace Uses of Cancer-causing 1-Bromopropane

On July 31st, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced a proposed rule under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), suggesting to protect the public from the effects of 1-BP by banning its use in all consumer applications except for insulation materials.
