Is dry ice a hazardous chemical?

Dry ice is not classified as a hazardous chemical. Dry ice is a solid form of carbon dioxide, whereas compressed carbon dioxide is a gas. The "Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals (2015)" refers only to compressed and liquefied carbon dioxide gases.
