Maine Expands Definition of "Toxic Substances" in Packaging Management Proposal

Maine regulatory authorities released a revised draft on July 16, modifying a proposal aimed at implementing the state's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) law for packaging. The definition now includes approximately 1,300 chemicals identified by these laws as chemicals of concern and high concern, expanding the definition of "toxic substances."
