The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan updated the chemical risk assessment tool CREATE-SIMPLE, which can compare Workplace Exposure Limits (WELs) with estimated exposure concentrations based on the conditions of chemical handling. The updates include the need to reassess the changed workplace exposure concentrations for substances that are liquid and have a vapor pressure between 0.5 and 5 Pascal.
