On May 18, 2024, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China issued an announcement titled "Announcement on the Supplement to the 'Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China' (2024 First Batch, Total 11th Batch)." This announcement details the addition of 7 chemical substances to the 'Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China,' including peracetic acid (CAS#107-32-4), (((1Z)-1-(2-amino-1,3-thiazol-4-yl)-2-(1,3-benzothiazol-2-ylthio)-2-oxoethyl)amino)oxy)methyl ester (CAS#246035-38-1), (αZ)-2-amino-α-(methoxyimino)-4-thiazoleacetic acid ethyl ester (CAS#64485-88-7), and vanadium trioxide (CAS#1314-34-7), among others. Announcement on the Supplement to the 'Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China' (2024 First Batch, Total 11th Batch)
In accordance with the "Environmental Management Registration Measures for New Chemical Substances" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Order No. 12), and following the requirements outlined in the "Announcement on the Release of 'Guidelines for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances' and Related Supporting Forms and Instructions for Filling Out Forms" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Announcement No. 51 of 2020) regarding the inclusion of chemical substances into the 'Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China,' our department has reviewed and publicized the application materials submitted by relevant chemical substance manufacturers, importers, users, industry associations, and other units. We now include the 7 chemical substances that meet the requirements in the 2024 First Batch (Total 11th Batch) into the 'Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China' (see attachment).
This is hereby announced.
