On May 18, 2024, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the "Announcement on the Inclusion of Newly Registered Chemical Substances into the 'Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China' (2024 First Batch, Total 13th Batch)." This announcement includes the addition of 34 newly registered chemical substances to the 'Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China,' such as [(amino-halogenated pyridyl)oxy] aliphatic carboxylic acid alkyl esters, 3-{[3-({[3-(acyloxy)-2,2-dialkylpropyl]substituted}alkyl)-3,5,5-trialkylcyclohexyl]amino}-2,2-dialkylpropyl dodecanoate, polyalkyl-polyhydro-benzofuran, molybdenum-containing metal oxides, etc. The specific details of the announcement are as follows:
Announcement on the Inclusion of Newly Registered Chemical Substances into the "Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China" (2024 First Batch, Total 13th Batch)
In accordance with the "Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Order No. 12), "Announcement on the Release of 'Guidelines for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances' and Related Supporting Forms and Instructions for Filling out Forms" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Announcement No. 51 of 2020), and "Announcement on Relevant Transitional Matters for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances" (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Announcement No. 46 of 2020), we hereby include the 34 newly registered chemical substances that meet the requirements into the "Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China" (see attachment), to be managed as existing chemical substances, and implement new use environmental management for chemicals marked with new use environmental management scopes.
This is hereby announced.
