This amendment modifies certain contents of the "Requirements of Concentration Limits for Certain Restricted Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products" (GB/T 26572-2011). Changes include modifications to the scope of application in Chapter 1, normative references, and corresponding sections throughout the document, as well as the restricted substances and restriction requirements in Chapter 4. It applies to the control of restricted substances in electrical and electronic products, including lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), and bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP).
Alternative Standards
This standard will partially replace GB/T 26572-2011 "Requirements of Concentration Limits for Certain Restricted Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products" effective from January 1, 2026.
