Main Content
This act specifies the toxic substances control, emergency response to asbestos hazards, indoor radon abatement, reduction of lead exposure, healthy high-performance schools, and formaldehyde standards for composite wood products. Toxic substances control includes testing, prioritization, risk assessment, and regulation of chemical substances and mixtures, retention of information reporting, and declaration. It is applicable to activities related to the manufacture, processing, commercial distribution, use, or disposal of chemical substances or mixtures in the United States.
