This standard specifies the entry conditions for hazardous waste landfill, environmental protection requirements for site selection, design, construction, operation, closure, and monitoring of landfills. It is applicable to the pollution control in the construction, operation, closure, and post-closure environmental management process of newly built hazardous waste landfills. The entry requirements, operation requirements, pollutant emission requirements, closure and post-closure environmental management requirements, and monitoring requirements of existing hazardous waste landfills shall comply with this standard. It is applicable to the supervision and management of environmental pollution prevention and control of hazardous waste landfills by the ecological environment department. It does not apply to the disposal of radioactive waste or the temporary disposal of hazardous waste resulting from emergencies.
