China Taiwan Revised the Standards for Air Pollutant Emission from Stationary Pollution Sources

On June 14, 2023, Environmental Protection Administration Executive Yuan of Taiwan, China released an announcement on revising Article 2 and 3 of Standards for Air Pollutant Emission from Stationary Pollution Sources.

Major Changes

Article 2

This standard is applicable to newly established, updated or existing stationary pollution sources (referred to as new pollution sources and existing pollution sources). The standard is provided in the annex.

Article 3

The definitions of specialized terms and symbols in this standard are as follows:

Perimeter: refers to the boundaries or limits used or managed in public or private premises.

h: refers to the actual height of the emission pipe outlet, measured in (m).

a1 , a2: refer to conversion constants for different pollutants.
