This Directive amends the EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) by adding a new exemption in Annex III, Article 46, for cadmium and lead in plastic profiles of electrical and electronic windows and doors containing recovered rigid PVC. This exemption is applicable to Category 11 of Annex I and will expire on May 28, 2028.
