This decree specifies standards for the designation of toxic substances, temporary suspension of production and import of hazardous chemicals, management and business operations of hazardous chemicals, exemptions for import licenses for restricted substances, and standards for penalties under the Chemical Substances Control Act (CCA). It is applicable to the management and operation of chemicals and hazardous chemicals in South Korea.
