This decree specifies the delegated matters and necessary implementations required by the Occupational Safety and Health Act in South Korea. It includes general provisions, safety and health management systems, safety and health education, prevention measures for hazards and risks, prevention of workplace accidents during contracting processes, measures against harmful and dangerous machinery, control measures for hazardous substances, health management of employees, occupational safety and health advisors, and labor inspectors. It is applicable to safety and health management activities in relevant workplaces. This decree also defines the scope of businesses or workplaces to which all or parts of this Act do not apply, as well as relevant provisions, as detailed in Table 1.
