This Act specifies safety and health management systems, safety and health education, measures for preventing hazards and risks, prevention of workplace injuries during contracting processes, measures against harmful and dangerous machinery, control measures for hazardous substances, health management of employees, occupational safety advisors, and occupational health advisors. It is applicable to all businesses, but based on the degree of hazard or danger, the type of business, the number of long-term workers at the workplace (or the number of construction projects for construction work), it may not apply in whole or in part to any type of business or workplace as specified by presidential decree.
