This standard specifies the emission limits for water and air pollutants, as well as monitoring and supervision requirements for industrial enterprises producing inorganic acids, alkalis, salts, oxides, hydroxides, peroxides, and elements. It is applicable to the emission management of water and air pollutants from these industrial enterprises and to the environmental impact assessment, environmental protection facility design, completion environmental protection acceptance, and post-commissioning emission management for construction projects in these industries. It does not apply to the emission management of water and air pollutants from the production of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, caustic soda, soda ash, calcium carbide, inorganic phosphates, inorganic coatings and pigments, phosphate fertilizers, nitrogen fertilizers, potassium fertilizers, potassium hydroxide, and other inorganic chemical products and non-ferrous metal industries.
