The Fire Agency of the Taiwan Region’s Ministry of Interior (commonly referred to as the Fire Agency) is the highest authority in charge of fire protection and disaster prevention affairs in the Taiwan region. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Interior and is responsible for establishing regulations related to all fire administration, personnel, and education and training matters. It also oversees local government fire agencies and various special fire organizations. However, it does not have the authority to issue personnel orders or control the finances of local government fire institutions. The agency’s headquarters is located in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City.
