The List of Restricted Industrial Chemicals in Vietnam includes hazardous chemicals that have special requirements for safety technology and scope, type, scale and duration of production and trade. The List is regulated by the Law on Chemicals (Order No.06/2007/QH12), which came into effect on July 1, 2008.

► In accordance with the Law on Chemicals,for restricted industrial chemicals in the List, a permit shall be applied from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) before production or trade. The application for permit includes the following documents: an application form, a copy of the business license, and SDS for hazardous chemical substances. The validation period of the permit lasts for 3 years. Applicants shall submit activity reports before June 1 and December 1 annually.

► Chemical substances that are not included in the List are not subject to corresponding obligations.
